Can you see it there? Its here on my face.

Can you see my truth it shines in this place.

There's a power that comes with honesty from the heart.

That gives us an anchor when trouble tries to tear us apart.

So, when there's a tempest trying to tear down our shack

Our truth is a sword that defends us from deceitful attack

It slices through deception and cleaves lies in two

It creates reliability and trustworthiness it's true

It cuts through the darkness and drives the shadows away

And builds a foundation we can live by each day

All we have is our word and it's not lightly given

And we hold ourselves to it, to break it's not living

Make your yeses mean yes and don't lie steal or cheat

And you'll be known as friend to everyone you meet.
